Festival hotel reservations are being handled by housing partners and more information will be updated here as we get closer. All the properties in the Festival Village are about a half-mile away from Orchestra Hall and Peavey Plaza. The City of Minneapolis provides a free bus line that goes up and down Nicollet Mall downtown. All the hotels are smoke-free; all have some ADA-accessible rooms available. The GALA discounted rates are guaranteed to be the lowest available and will not be available to anyone making reservations by any other means.
The general housing reservation system will open after the early registration deadline. We will communicate an exact date in 2027. In order to receive the discounted GALA group rate, reservations MUST be made through a special webpage operated by our housing partners. The dedicated web link for this page will be on the GALA website and distributed to our mailing list. Rates for rooms at the specific hotels will be made available before the reservation system opens.
Check with your chorus’s Festival Liaison to see whether you need to make hotel reservations on your own, or whether they will book a block of rooms for the whole chorus. You will be able to preview the hotels in the block and find more information about each property before booking opens.
