The GALA Choruses communication toolkit includes:

GALA Choruses descriptive paragraphs – these are standard descriptions of GALA Choruses' mission, vision, values and history. Please use one of these paragraphs when describing GALA Choruses in press releases, newsletters, program books, web sites or other communications.

Additional suggested uses of Toolkit Material

• To supplement an article on glbt choral arts for a newspaper or magazine in your community
• To supplement an article on glbt choral arts for a website publication
• To promote your participation in conferences and events that support the work of your chorus
• To promote your work to prospective sponsors and donors

These materials should not be used for commercial purposes but used solely to promote your chorus, GALA Choruses and the glbt choral arts movement.

Name Use – As a member of GALA Choruses you are encouraged to display your affiliation with the Association whenever possible. In an attempt to provide consistent recognition for GALA Choruses, the following names are acceptable to add to your marketing materials. Please be cautious to use our complete name and not just refer to the Association as "GALA" (which is spelled with all capital letters as shown).

• "GALA Choruses"

Web sites – GALA Choruses is proud of our partnership with your chorus. We hope you are equally proud of your affiliation with GALA Choruses. We will maintain a link to your web site in our resource section (you must provide your URL) and we ask that you maintain a link to GALA Choruses' web site.
