GALA CHORUSES - SING FOR THE CURE REHEARSAL FILES

Eric McAnallen of the Gay Men's Chorus of Houston sang ALL voice parts (including the Sopranos and Altos an octave lower). The women will practice an octave higher to what is on the Study Music Files. The piano accompaniment was generated with computer MIDI. The song "One Voice" was recorded slightly different than written in the score. For measures 82, 83, and 85, the Tenors divide (T1/T2) instead of the Basses (B1/B2) on the 3-note chords.

You can burn a CD, copy to your portable MP3 player, or play the files from your hard drive after you have downloaded them to a folder on your hard drive.

"Your" voice part is emphasized in the left audio channel with the other voices at much lower volume in the right channel. If a voice part splits (e.g. Lower T1 and Upper T1), the lower voice is in the left channel and the upper voice is in the center at equal volume.

The "Balanced" MP3 files contain all voices at equal volume, equally distributed from left to right (B2 to S1). Since a male voice is used for the women parts, the balanced track may sound odd as the "women" voices are in the same octave as the men's. An exception would be for the TTBB "Livin' Out Loud Blues" and SSAA "Come To Me Mother", where all voices are relatively correct to each other.
